Mr and Mrs Lewis, Wallsend

Project

Mrs. Lewis was then put in touch with Easiaccess by her husband’s Occupational Therapist, who offered her either a new or re-conditioned ramp. Easiaccess’ two key product groups; excellent systems & metal modular are re-usable and recyclable, reducing cost whilst maintaining a quality product which is fully safety tested and restored.

The ramp would be installed to the front of the property, allowing access for Mr Lewis and his wheelchair.

Outcome

Easiaccess carried out the installation of the metal modular ramp, gate and step unit, and also carried out small ground works to the front of the property.

The new ramp has several key features including a landing point at the top of the ramp to allow plenty of room to manoeuvre a wheelchair and open doors. The ramp has raised edges to prevent the chair from accidentally rolling off the edge as well as a non-slip surface to provide adequate stability and friction for tyres in both wet and dry conditions. It also has handrails to allow for further support.

The work was completed quickly and efficiently, allowing Mr Lewis the freedom to go outdoors again.

Testimonial

“The ramp that Easiaccess installed was a good price, and was installed very quickly, in fact the workmen never stopped while they were here! They and everyone else I dealt with at Easiaccess were very nice and friendly. I would highly recommend Easiaccess, for price, quality and service. Everyone comments on how nice the ramp looks and how good it is! Excellent service all round.”
